Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

Police repatriate the driver of the car Pajero with the plate RI 1 trying to break Police headquarters, South Jakarta.

The driver with the initials M was sent home after undergoing an examination by Subdit Gakkum, Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya.

“We have returned it because last night after the debriefing and clarification report was made, we did not see any item other than traffic violations,” Gakkum Polda Metro Jaya Deputy Head of Director, AKBP Fahri Siregar said when contacted on Thursday 11/26).

Despite the driver having been discharged, the Pajero car wearing RI license plate 1 was seized by the police and used as evidence.

This is because, Fahri said, the car uses a license plate that does not match the original identity of the vehicle.

“That is why we apply a fine with paragraph 1 of article 288, that is, imprisonment of 2 months or a fine of 500 thousand rupees,” he said.

On the other hand, Fahri said that the driver of the car was trying to enter the Police Headquarters to seek attention. It was known that the driver, he said, had made a report to the National Police Headquarters and considered that the service provided for his complaint was not optimal.

“He did not pay attention, so he sought attention at the National Police Headquarters using a car with RI number 1 and also visiting the Police Headquarters,” he said.

Previously, a white Mitsubishi Pajero with the RI number 1 plate broke into the National Police Headquarters on Wednesday (11/25).

From the results of the identification, the registration of RI 1 is known to be false. This is because the car has a DD 577 PT license plate. The code for the DD plate itself is known to be used in the South Sulawesi area. Furthermore, from the examination results, it was also known that the owner of the Pajero car was someone with the initials M.
