Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

Investigator Bareskrim Polri consider the party Islamic Defenders Front (REIT) does not have the ability to explain the incident crashing between the police and the members Laskar Pembela Islam (LPI) on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.

For this reason, the Director of General Crimes (Dirtipidum), Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Andi Rian, considered that the presence of the FPI was not necessary in the reconstruction of the case. This statement was made by Andi to explain why the police did not invite the FPI.

“What is the purpose of inviting the FPI, do you know? If you know what happened, let’s call him a witness,” Andi said when contacted by reporters on Monday (12/14).

However, Andi continued, the investigation is still ongoing. Therefore, it is not impossible for the police to summon the FPI parties for questioning.

“If you know of this incident, wait for us to examine it as witnesses,” he said again.

A clash incident on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road on Monday (7/12) in the early hours of last morning resulted in the death of six FPI soldiers. All six people were reportedly killed by hot lead from security forces amid the guard of FPI leader Rizieq Shihab.

Later, the police carried out a reconstruction of the case of shooting by the FPI paramilitaries on Monday (12/14) today. The reconstruction, which was carried out without the presence of the FPI, showed 58 scenes.

In response to the title of the Crime Scene Investigator (TKP) case around Karawang, FPI Chief Legal Aid Sugito Atmo Pawiro urged the formation of an independent team just to investigate this case.

“Please, the police do an internal reconstruction, but we from the FPI demand that the right to rebuild later to an independent investigation team,” he told CNNIndonesia.com, Monday (12/14).

Sugito disputed the police claim that he had found two firearms and other sharp weapons in the car of a member of the military during the incident.

The existence of an independent investigation team, according to Sugito, will one day answer the various questions in this incident. One of them, the issue of the possession of weapons, whether of members of the laskar or simply a police claim.

Sugito said, the independent team will also clarify at the same time that the senpi is an assembled or official guy.

He also asked Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General of Police, to present evidence. Fadil Imran shortly after the incident. According to him, this test should be checked and not changed.

Previously, the police had carried out a reconstruction of the incident of the confrontation that killed six members of the army while guarding the high priest of the FPI, Rizieq Shihab, on Monday (12/7) last week.

One of the reconstructions showed that the police eventually shot dead four members of the Laskar suspected of resisting the resistance.
