Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Inspector General of Kapolda Metro Jaya Nana Sudjana stated that his party was investigating the alleged chemical element in the ball thrown by the masses action 1310.
“We are currently investigating whether the chemical material is true or not, it is still getting deeper,” he said, when meeting at the TransJakarta bus stop in central Jakarta on Tuesday (10/13).
Nana stated that her party had deployed the Brimob Gegana team to investigate the suspicious chemicals in the ball. He said the investigation was ongoing.
“We are investigating this, there are members of Jibom (bomb squad) and Gegana,” said Nana.
In the same place, the head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, police commissioner, Yusri Yunus, said that his party was collecting three pieces of evidence of the impact of the chaos. Among them are catapults, Molotov cocktails and plastic balls suspected of containing chemicals.
“It has been secured, we will study it,” Yusri said.
The action against the Cipta Kerja Omnibus Law or the action 1310 around the Arjunawiwaha statue in central Jakarta is known to have ended in chaos this afternoon. The riot occurred after the command of the FPI command car dispersed to end the action.
The action was initiated by several organizations of the Islamic community (Ormas) that are members of the National Anti-Communist Alliance (Anak NKRI). They demand the ratification of the Employment Creation Law that DPR approved some time ago.
