The figure of a mysterious man was recorded throwing stones at protesters from above the DPRD building in the city of Medan. The police will investigate the author of the stone throwing.
“We will investigate the circulating video,” North Sumatra Police Chief of Public Relations Kombes Tatan Dirsan Atmaja said when asked for confirmation on Thursday (8/10/2020).
To obtain information, residents captured the action of a mysterious figure throwing stones at the crowd from above the Medan DPRD building. In the video, several people can be seen on top of the DPRD building in the city of Medan.
They appeared to be throwing stones at the crowd on the street in front of the Medan DPRD building. The video recorder, Siddiq, said the incident occurred around 3 p.m. WIB.

The recorder did not explain in detail who the party was that threw the stone from the top of the Medan DPRD building. Siddiq said he saw three people on top of the Medan DPRD building when the stone throwing took place.
“If we see that there are three people. No (no one was hurt), almost,” Siddiq explained.
The incident itself occurred when a mass held a demonstration against the general law of the Employment Creation Act in the area around the North Sumatra DPRD, which is adjacent to the Medan DRPD. The demonstration was chaotic and the police fired tear gas to disperse the crowd.
The masses that were previously concentrated in front of the North Sumatra DPRD split. Some of them ran towards Benteng Square and others towards Jalan Kapten Maulana Lubis.
Well the position of the recorder itself is around the monument near the intersection between Jalan Kapten Maulana Lubis and Jalan Imam Bonjol. In the video, the stone thrower appears to be on the roof of the DPRD building in the city of Medan in front of the crossroads.
