jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The Presidium of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (KAMI) Din Syamsuddin believes that the police’s decision to summon the governor of Jakarta DKI, Anies Baswedan, is a new story.

According to Din, the police have never summoned the regional chief to just clarify.

“Never before has Polda summoned a governor to be a working partner just to clarify, except in the context of an investigation,” Din said in a statement received on Wednesday (11/18).

Din actually asked about the authority of the police to investigate Anies regarding the violation of the health protocol policy.

Because, he said, the responsibility for the health protocol should rest with the National Police itself.

“Why didn’t the Kapolda come (it was checked). Isn’t it the permission and responsibility of the crowds that violate health protocols with the Police?” Din said.

Former PP President General Muhammadiyah said that the investigation into Anies, who was a partner in Polda Metro Jaya, was excessive, which was a bad precedent and also damaged the image of the police.

Then, Din mentioned the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, in whose territory there was a crowd because Rizieq Shihab had not yet been questioned by the police.
