JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – RI Police Chief General Idham Azis published the information under the number Mak / 1 / I / 2021 on compliance with the prohibition of activities, the use of symbols and attributes, as well as the Islamic Defenders Ceasefire Front (FPI) on Friday (1/1/2021).

This edict refers to Joint Decree (SKB) Number 220-4780 Year 2020, Number M.HH-14.HH.05.05 Year 2020, Number 690 Year 2020, Number 264 Year 2020, Number KB / 3 / XII / 2020 and Number 320 of 2020 on the prohibition of activities, the use of symbols and attributes and the termination of FPI activities.

Based on this statement, the Chief of the National Police emphasized that the public should not facilitate the activities of the FPI or use symbols and attributes of the FPI.

“The community is not involved directly or indirectly in the support and facilitation of activities and the use of symbols and attributes of the FPI,” said one of the points of the announcement of the Chief of the National Police.

The Chief of the National Police also reminded the public to immediately inform the competent authorities if they find activities, symbols and attributes of the FPI and not to take any action that violates the law.

When braking banners or flag, attributes, to pamphlets, the Chief of the National Police advanced the efforts of PP Satpol that have the full support of TNI-Polri.

In addition, the Chief of the National Police emphasized that the public should not access, upload and disseminate content related to the FPI, either through websites or social networks (social networks).

“That when a fact contrary to this information is found, then every member of the Police must take the necessary actions in accordance with the provisions of the law, or the discretion of the police,” said the information.

The dissolution of the FPI itself is based on SKB which was pressured by six senior officials of the country on Wednesday (12/30/2020).
