Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – Gelora Party Vice President DPN Fahri Hamzah assessed that Habib Rizieq Shihab’s activities, which sparked a crowd and resulted in the removal of two regional police chiefs, were a form of state misconduct.

According to Fahri, the state could not anticipate this incident.

Inspector General Pol Nana Sujana and Inspector General Pol Rudi Sufahriadi were removed from their posts as Kapolda Metro Jaya and Kapolda West Java. Both were deemed unable to cope with the crowd.

Even the governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, was summoned today by the Polda Metro Jaya to be questioned about the violation of the health protocol in the welcome activity of Habib Rizieq.

“This is a form of misconduct by the state because it cannot anticipate the presence of Habib Rizieq when he returns to Indonesia,” Fahri said on Tuesday (11/17/2020).

According to Fahri, the country was shocked by the phenomenon that occurred. In fact, Fahri continued, the state has a role of detection and motivation.

“It doesn’t matter what activities, weather, and natural disasters the state can guess at,” Fahri said.

He said the incident was initially considered minor and insignificant. However, it turned out that many fans welcomed the arrival of Habib Rizieq.

Meanwhile, in connection with this, the President of the Indonesian Police Watch (IPW) Presidium, Neta Pane, revealed that there were other allegations of dismissal of Inspector General Nana Sudjana.

Aside from the problem of enforcing the health protocol in the case of Habib Rizieq Shihab, Neta said that the removal of Nana was part of the competition maneuver for the market of candidates for head of the National Police.

According to Neta, Nana is one of the strongest candidates in the Solo gang.

Therefore, Nana’s carelessness regarding the Habib Rizieq Shihab event was taken advantage of by various parties.
