The telegram letter also responds to the controversy of point 2D Mak / 1 / I / 2021 on the prohibition of the public from accessing, uploading and broadcasting content related to FPI.
“The information from point 2D did not offend the media,” Idham said via telegram.
Idham said that as long as he complied with the journalistic code of ethics and the Press Law, freedom of expression was guaranteed by the constitution.
However, Idham said, his party would avoid and take action against those who disseminate content contrary to the 1945 Constitution and Pancasila and threaten the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia and Bhineka Tunggal Ika.
“That is why the State must be present to take precautions and act,” he said.
