Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The National Police of the Republic of Indonesia (Polri) have arrested defamers of hoaxes related to the general law of the Employment Creation Law. The head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Pol Argo Yuwono, announced the arrest in a press release at his office on Friday (09/10/2020).
Argo said that the aforementioned deception was related to the 12 articles of the general law of the Employment Creation Law. One of them contains news about severance pay until city and district minimum wages are eliminated.
“This has been circulating so that the public is provoked and the public sees it and then we see that this law turns out to be a hoax because it is not true what the DPR happened,” said Argo.
According to him, the Bareskrim Polri team finally followed up. Police found someone uploaded it on social media. The location is in Makassar, South Sulawesi.

“On Thursday October 8, 2020, our members went there and we did an investigation there and we found a woman who did it and uploaded to her Twitter @videlyae,” Argo said.
The woman has the initials FD and is 36 years old. He is a resident of Makassar, South Sulawesi.
“After we made the arrest there, we took him to Jakarta. Therefore, according to the results of the investigation, it is true that the person in question posted posts and spread false news on his Twitter account, which caused confusion.” Argo said.
The police then secured the evidence, including a cell phone SIM card. So what is the motive of the perpetrator? Argo said that the interested party was disappointed because it did not work.
