Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
East Indonesia Mujahidin Terrorist Network Group (MIT) Sediment Leader Ali Kalora | allegedly committed the murder of residents in the village of Lembontongoa, Sigi Regency, province Central Sulawesi on Friday (11/27).
The Chief of Public Relations for the Central Sulawesi Police, Senior Commissioner Didik Suparnoto, explained that at least four people were victims of the murder. Those who become victims are suspected of having family ties.
“There were four who died, in the name of Yasa, then Pinu, Naka and Pedi,” Didik Suparnoto said when it was confirmed, on Saturday (11/28).
The initial information, he said, was that the incident was reported by Ulin, who is the victim’s son. He is one of the witnesses to that unfortunate incident.
According to witnesses, the incident occurred around 9 a.m. yesterday at WITA. However, the police officers only received the report around 1 p.m. WITA.
“We still don’t know if it is a family or not, because he has a son-in-law,” he said.
According to Didik, the witness claimed that the murder was committed by a group of people. He was able to identify three of the various perpetrators on the MIT Poso wanted list (DPO) run by Ali Kalora.
Ali Kalora himself became the leader of MIT after the previous leader, Santoso, was killed by TNI.
“So after the photos were shown to them, three were recognized. One of them was Ali Kalora,” he said.
According to Didik, this was done by the perpetrator to spread fear among the inhabitants of Sigi Regency. Usually, those who are members of terrorist networks do it.
According to him, the perpetrators also did not recognize the victim they killed.
“So sometimes they like to act randomly. They are called terrorists, so they perform acts of terror to scare the public,” Didik said.
