Jakarta –
The NasDem Party spoke about the PKS by targeting the voices of people who were dissatisfied with the year of leadership of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). NasDem reminded PKS of the threat from the Gelora Party.
“In the direction of the legislative elections of 2024, the people are still very dynamic. In addition to the old parties that will continue to maintain their supporters, the new parties that have emerged have also carried out various maneuvers to attract popular support,” NasDem elite Effendi Choirie told reporters on Sunday (12/27/2020).
“Increasing as a fraction of the PKS the numbers are likely to invite supporters of the PKS, as well as target others,” he added.
Effendi said maneuvers to cut votes from other parties were common. As long as it is done in a healthy way.
“Yes, maneuvering each other, that’s normal, that’s democracy. The important thing is that the struggle is healthy,” Effendi said.
The chairman of the winning Java 1 territorial election DPP NasDem also found it natural for PKS to target votes that were disappointed with Jokowi’s year of leadership. Effendi said that the increase in government performance is very possible after the Jokowi reorganization.
“All parties are also working hard to get the sympathy and support of the people, whether they are satisfied or dissatisfied with the leadership of Jokowi. That is normal and normal. That is from the party’s point of view for the people. “Effendi said.
“From people’s point of view towards Jokowi, after the reorganization, Jokowi’s performance could increase, so people’s satisfaction can also increase to more than 60 percent. (Community dissatisfaction) can change a lot if Jokowi’s performance is better, “he continued.
As is known, PKS is looking at the voices of people who are dissatisfied with President Jokowi’s year of leadership. According to PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu, according to Kompas’ research and development survey in October 2020, 52.5 percent of respondents were dissatisfied with President Jokowi’s performance during his year in office.
PPP responded to what Syaikhu said. PPP said that people who were already disappointed in Jokowi didn’t necessarily choose PKS.
“While segments of society, although disappointed with the existing government, are also not comfortable with parties outside the government coalition, it is believed that it will not be easy to work in a party like the PKS,” said PPP politician Arsul Sani.
