JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Pertamina Commissioner President Basuki Tjahaja Purnama aka Ahok said that the position of BUMN officials was very full of political lobbying. He even suggested that the BUMN Ministry be dissolved.

The former governor of DKI Jakarta also openly stated that commissioner positions in state-owned companies are mostly entrusted by the ministry.

“So all the directors play with the minister because he is the one who determines the minister. The commissioners are also entrusted by the ministries on average,” Ahok was quoted as saying in the transmission posted by the YouTube account. POINTS seen on Wednesday (9/16/2020).

1. Ego Syahrial (Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources)

Ego Syahrial is a tiered official in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Ego is currently the Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

Previously, this Petroleum Engineering graduate from Trisakti University was appointed as Head of the Geological Agency, then Head of the ESDM Office of Planning and Cooperation.

Another level I position that he has held in the Ministry of Energy Affairs is that of Director General of Oil and Gas.

2. Budi Gunadi Sadikin (Ministry of BUMN)

Budi Gunadi Sadikin is an old face in the Ministry of BUMN. His long career spanned banking. He is the former CEO of Bank Mandiri.

3. Isa Rachmatarwata (Ministry of Finance)

Isa Rachmatarwata is a Tier I official in the Ministry of Finance. His position is Director General of State Assets since July 2017.

Isa is a graduate of the ITB Department of Mathematics. He began his career as an official in the Ministry of Finance in the General Directorate of Financial Institutions of the Directorate of Pension Funds in 1991.

4. Condro Kirono (General Police)

Condro Kirono’s name is familiar to the Police. Condro Kirono is a high ranking police officer who graduated from the Police Academy in 1984, he also attended PTIK, SESPIM, SESPATI and Lemhannas.

He has served as the Chief of the Central Java Regional Police in 2016. Other positions in the National Police he has held include the Chief of the Tegal Police, the Central Java Regional Police (2002), the Regional Police Headquarters of North Sumatra (2003), Yogyakarta Regional Police Chief, DIY Regional Police (2004), South Kalimantan Regional Police Dirlantas (2006), Dirlantas Polda Jatim (2007), Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya (2008) , Karobinops Sops Polri (2010), Kapolda Riau (2013), Kakorlantas Polri (2014).

Before being appointed to the Pertamina Board of Commissioners on November 8, 2019, Condro Kirono served as Chief Policy Analyst for Baharkam Polri.

5. Alexander Lay (Jokowi volunteer)

Alexander Lay is listed as one of the Jokowi volunteers. He is one of 10 defense attorneys for Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla in the trial of disputes over the results of the presidential and vice-presidential elections in the Constitutional Court, in the 2014 presidential elections.

6. David Bingei (Independent)

David Bingei was appointed as Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) since April 17, 2020. His career has developed in various fields of financial banking and capital market transactions.

David has served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance at Rabobank International, Director of Debt Capital Markets at ABN AMRO Bank, and Co-Director of Structured Finance at ABN AMRO Bank.

David began his career in finance at Bank Niaga and then Bank Lippo Tbk as Director of Corporate Banking.
