Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

Candidates for Deputy Mayor Depok since PDIP Afifah Alia joked that the development of Depok City under the leadership of Mayor M. Idris only focused on Jalan Margonda.

Afifah said that development centered on Margonda created inequality. As a result, other areas were not well developed.

“Margonda is less than 5 kilometers long, there are 8 apartments, 4 shopping malls, 20 apartment towers. All economic centers are only in Margonda. This is because the Depok city government has failed to build roads to around him, “Afifah said at the Depok Pilwalkot Debate, on Sunday (11/22).

Pradi-Afifah said they would level development in areas other than Margonda. They will build a road in the Sawangan area so that development can move to the other side of Depok.

Afifah’s claim was immediately rejected by PKS Depok Deputy Mayor Imam Budi Hartono. Imam hinted that Pradi and Afifah never traveled to Depok.

“Paslon number 1 has not yet traveled to Depok. Bojong Sari is already busy, Cinere is already busy, so it is not just focusing on Margonda,” Imam said.

According to the PKS politician, he and Idris will budget for IDR 5 billion per village. With this budget, he said, 63 urban villages in Depok could increase development in their respective regions.

Additionally, Imam said there are already toll road developments around Depok. The highway is said to connect areas in Depok.

The Imam’s response was immediately attacked by Pradi. The man who is now Depok’s deputy mayor said the roadmap for equitable development had existed since 2003. But Idris did not want to carry it out, Pradi said.

“I have relayed it to Pak Idris, but it seems that my proposal was crossed out by him. This is a problem for us,” Pradi said.
