jpnn.com, LONDON – Ben Chilwell scored a goal and an assist in his Premier League debut for Chelsea on Saturday (3/10) WIB night.
The 23-year-old left-back scored Chelsea’s first goal against the Crystal Palace visitors and then provided the assist for Kurt Zouma’s second goal for the Blues.
Chelsea won 4-0 in a landslide match at Stamford Bridge.
The hosts controlled the first half with Tammy Abraham about to score twice.
3 – Ben Chilwell is only the third player to score and assist in a goal in his Premier League debut for Chelsea, following Deco in August 2008 and Álvaro Morata in August 2017. Courage. #CHECRY pic.twitter.com/P0DecuSyQp – OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) October 3, 2020
However, Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita performed brilliantly, at least until the first half was over.
Chelsea took a five-minute lead in the second half when Chilwell stormed from the center of the area.
