Pangdam Jaya Reveals Habib Rizieq Billboard Decline At Satpol PP’s Request

Pangdam Jaya, Major General Dudung Abdurachman, said that the removal of billboards for the leader of the FPI, Habib Rizieq Syihab, was based on the request of PP Satpol. Dudung said that was when his party jointly removed the billboards.

“Yes, it is clear, there is a request and indeed we are united,” Dudung told reporters at the Regional Military Command Headquarters in Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, Cililitan, East Jakarta, on Monday (11/23/2020)

Although at the request of Satpol PP, Dudung emphasized that the removal of the FPI billboards was his initiative. There have been 338 FPI billboards that you posted in the last two months.

“When there was a decrease to 338 billboards, it was done two months ago,” he said.

He invited those who doubted his statement to ask the former Chief Inspector General of Police for Metro Jaya, Nana Sujana, to confirm the number of billboards that had been removed. Before removing the billboards, the Kodam Jaya had also coordinated with the Jakarta Satpol PP.

“We carried it out according to the procedures, according to the provisions. Pol PP introduced, because Pol PP is implementing government regulations, regional government regulations,” Dudung said.
