The Alumni Brotherhood (PA) 212 is still awaiting permission to use the area for the 212th meeting of the DKI Jakarta provincial government. PA 212 said the technical committee for the meeting was being discussed.
“We have sent it to Monas and the DKI regional government for 3 months. We have a receipt, we are awaiting a response from the DKI regional government,” PA 212 President Slamet Maarif told reporters on Wednesday ( 11/11/2020).
Slamet stressed that his party will continue to hold the PA 212 meeting on December 2. However, the technical implementation is still being discussed because large-scale transitional social restrictions (PSBB) in DKI are still in place.
“Even so (Meeting 212), we are still discussing the form and program related to PSBB. It is still being discussed (either virtual or direct),” he explained.
Regarding the meeting plan, DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria said that Monas has not been opened so far. Monas is still closed because the transitional PSBB is still in effect.
“Until today, it has not been allowed to open, until today, regarding the PSBB,” Riza said at DKI Jakarta City Council, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (11/10).
