Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Erick Thohir, opened the voice regarding his steps to completely reform all Tier I positions in the ministry when he took office. The movement is said to be part of a massive transformation within the BUMN body.

Erick said this reorganization was part of the transformation, so the company was not only encouraged to make changes. However, it must also be supported by changes within the ministry.

“It is the same in the ministry if we carry out a massive transformation, from the ministry itself that must be self-introspective, it can not only violate its BUMN,” Erick said in a video on the Karni Ilyas Club YouTube account, quoted on Sunday (11/1/2020).

“So that’s why we changed the structure that used to overlap between ministers, ministers, wamen, we fixed them. Ministers and wamen had portfolios, administrative sessions, then the deputies focused more on functions, that is, finances, HRD was like a corporation”, explained.

Erick emphasized that the reforms carried out and the replacement of new figures were carried out with considerations of professionalism and performance. So that there is no feeling of like or dislike for the people who are removed.

“So yes, the appointment or replacement or retention is not based on whether we like it or not, but of course there are parts of the roadmap or transformation that we want. We will take care of these figures as long as the KPI is appropriate, ”he said.

Previously, the Ministry of BUMN had six deputies, namely a deputy for energy, logistics, regional business and tourism, a deputy for mining, strategic industry and the media, a deputy for financial services, survey services and consultants, a deputy for restructuring and business development, a deputy for the agro and pharmaceutical industry, and the deputy director of business infrastructure.

Another position that was also replaced was that of Secretary of the Ministry of BUMN. Names Erick expelled from the ministry previously headed by Rini Soemarno include Imam Apriyanto Putro, who was previously Secretary of State-Owned Enterprises since 2013.

Then, Gatot Trihargo, who was previously Assistant Financial Services, Survey Services, and Consultants. Followed by Hambra, who previously served as Commercial Infrastructure Deputy.

Then, Wahyu Kuncoro, who served as Business Deputy for the Agro and Pharmaceutical Industry. Finally, Fajar Harry Sampurno, Deputy for Mining, Strategic Industries and Media.

Currently, the nomenclature of echelon I in the ministry has been revised and filled with new people appointed by Erick, including Susyanto as Secretary of the Ministry of BUMN.

Then in the ranks of the deputies are Carlo Brix Tewu as Deputy for Legal Affairs and Legislation, Nawal Nely as Deputy for Finance and Risk Management, and Loto Srinaita Ginting as Expert Personnel for Finance and MSMEs Development.

Then there are Alex Denni, Deputy Human Resources (HR) and Warih Sadono for the position of Expert Personnel in the field of Strategic Policy Implementation.
