THE HAGUE, KOMPAS.com – Several shots were fired at the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in the city of The Hague, Netherlands, on Thursday (12/11/2020).

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, according to the quoted police statement. Kompas.com since AFP.

“Just before 6 in the morning we received the message that shots were fired in a building in The Hague. There were no injuries,” police wrote on Twitter.

Several bullet casings were found at the scene after the incident, the Dutch news agency reported. ANP who cited the police statement.

Local media said there were 20 bullet holes in the building and showed photos of several of the holes in the windows.

However, there was no confirmation of the number of shots fired by the police.

Officers have closed the scene and the forensic team is conducting an investigation, police said.

The motive for the shooting was also unknown.

This shooting occurred one day after a bomb exploded in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, during the commemoration of the First World War that was attended by diplomats from France and other countries.

The explosion on Wednesday (11/11/2020) injured at least two people.
