More and more employees quit the KPK. Without palliative, employees who have worked for 15 years are willing to leave the KPK.
Nanang Farid Syam decided to resign. Nanang’s resignation was communicated by the Chairman of the KPK Employees Council, Yudi Purnomo.
“It is true that Uda Nanang Farid Syam, who is a senior employee of KPK and also a KPK employee advisor, has resigned from KPK,” Yudi told reporters on Thursday (12/11/2020).
Nanang also had time to meet Yudi. Of course, Nanang’s hopes of overturning his decision to resign were still stagnant.
“Actually, we hope that the person in question continues to work at the KPK,” Yudi expected.
But alas, Nanang’s decision was unanimous. You can only say thank you. Of course, Nanang’s footsteps remain rooted in the KPK.
“We are grateful for his services during the 15 years that he has devoted to the Corruption Eradication Commission, especially in building anti-corruption networks in Indonesia. Good luck in your new place,” Yudi said.
Nanang’s resignation caught the attention of KPK principal investigator Novel Baswedan. So what is the cause of Nanang’s withdrawal? Novel assessed that Nanang’s resignation was caused by “changes” that occurred at the KPK.
“Once again, the KPK has lost a high-level employee, the former head of the Employees Council. In fact, the ‘change’ makes the fighters leave one by one,” Novel wrote via Twitter, @nazaqistsha, according to as seen by detikcom, on Friday (11/13/2020).
A question was etched in Novel’s mind. Is the resignation of employees a sign that the eradication of corruption in the country will disappear? That was the question on Novel’s mind. Novel did not forget to encourage Nanang.
“Will eradicating corruption just be a story? Hopefully there is still hope to fight for,” Novel said.
“Keep fighting wherever you are, Uda,” he added.
