“Previously, there were individuals, companies or groups that controlled the land,” the RI I DPR Commission member said in an email on Sunday (12/27).
According to him, from the data he obtained, the problem lands of the former Cikopo Selatan Gunung Mas plantation now claimed by PTPN VIII and covering an area of approximately 352.67 ha are distributed in six villages.
The six villages include the villages of Sukakarya and Kopo, the Megamendung district which covers an area of approximately 94.26 ha; Sukagalih Village, Megamendung with an area of approximately 40.08 ha; Kuta Village, Megamendung District with an area of 65.46 ha.
Then, Sukaresmi village, Megamendung district with an area of 97.71 ha and Citeko village, Cisarua district, with an area of approximately 55.16 ha. So the total of the six villages in the two sub-districts is 352.67 ha.
From the information gathered, he continued, not only the FPI, but also various Korean generals, foundations, villages and companies also controlled the lands owned by the state.
“I emphasize that all parties that control the lands belonging to PTPN VIII must leave according to the applicable regulations,” he said.
