JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Officially acquired by Raffi Ahmad, the league 2 club Cilegon United FC, changed its name to Rans Cilegon FC.

Raffi, under the auspices of Rans Entertainment in collaboration with Prestige Motorcars, officially acquired Cilegon United and changed its name to Rans Cilegon FC.

“When Cilegon United FC made an offer to Rans to help and work together to raise the name of the team, as a lover of the sport he was interested and had a desire to raise the name of Indonesian soccer,” Raffi Ahmad told the media team in North Jakarta, Wednesday (3/31/2021).

Raffi and Rudi Salim were the president of Rans Cilegon FC, while Hamka Hamzah was appointed coach and Bambang Nurdiansyah as coach.

Rans Cilegon FC will establish SSB and build infrastructure qualified as nurseries.

Meanwhile, regarding the goal, although not loaded with promotion goals, coach Bambang Nurdiansyah aims to qualify for League 1 with a young team.
