Gareth Bale officially rejoined his former club, Tottenham Hotspur. The Welsh star was recruited The Lilywhites on loan from Real Madrid.
Bale was announced as Tottenham’s new player on Sunday (9/20/2020) WIB early in the morning. The 31-year-old was loaned from Madrid for a one-season contract length and for an undisclosed transfer fee.
The news of Bale’s incorporation also coincided with the inauguration of the transfer of Sergio Reguilon, his Madrid teammate, to Tottenham. The two will play together in uniform The Lilywhites in the 2020/2021 season.
Especially for Bale, this announcement also saw him play for Tottenham Hotspur again for the second time in his career. Previously, he had defended the North London team flag from 2007 to 2013.
