Two US presidential candidates, Joe Biden and Donald Trump, are running in the state of Georgia. Biden managed to reverse the position after catching up on Trump’s vote. Could Biden win in Georgia?
Initially, in the state of Georgia, the current Trump had the advantage over his competitor, Joe Biden.
Previously as reported New York Times, Trump narrowly beat Biden on Wednesday (11/4) by winning 2,381,870 votes or reaching 50.5 percent. Meanwhile, Biden received 2,279,736 votes, or 48.3 percent of the vote. These data were calculated based on the vote count, which at that time reached 92 percent.
However, the difference in votes narrowed. As reported ABC News and CNNOn Friday (6/11/2020), the gap narrowed after additional votes were again reported from Fulton County, Georgia’s largest district, and the location of Atlanta, the state capital.
Temporal calculation data of ABC News Y CNN shows that with 98 percent of the votes cast in Georgia, Trump narrowly led by 49.5 percent (2,439,809 votes) against Biden with 49.3 percent (2,430,275 votes). The difference between the two presidential candidates came to just 9,534 votes.
Also, according to a Fox News tally, when 99 percent of the votes were cast, the gap narrowed.
Fox News data, as of Friday (6/11) in the early hours of US time, shows that Trump and Biden still get 49.4 percent of the vote in Georgia.
