DIY NEWS – The Ministry of Manpower has received 2.8 million accounts from possible beneficiaries of wage subsidies that entered batch 4. These data come from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, which has passed the validation of accounts with the banks.

Manpower Minister Ida Fauziyah said the integrity of the 2.8 million accounts of potential wage subsidy beneficiaries would be checked before the aid was disbursed. If they pass, participants will receive a salary subsidy of 2.4 million IDR for four months that will be carried over twice.

“We will process this fourth batch in accordance with the operating guidelines, starting today we will Check list for 4 business days. We will use it to see the adequacy of the data presented by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, “Ida told reporters via recording on Thursday (9/17).

On another occasion, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (BPJamsostek) managing director Agus Susanto said he had submitted data on 2.8 million accounts of potential wage subsidy recipients that would enter lot four.


Previously, there were three waves that had been and were being processed for disbursement. The first wave of 2.5 million workers had already been transferred by the end of August 2020, the second wave of 3 million workers, and the third wave of 3.5 million workers.

“So there are 11.8 million accounts ready to be transferred. We have submitted this to the Ministry of Manpower,” Agus said at a press conference held by FMB9 on Thursday (9/17).

Other than that, there are 1.7 million accounts of potential wage subsidy recipients that did not receive this assistance. Agus said they did not qualify because the data did not match the criteria of the Ministry of Manpower even though it was registered with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
