No winner in the Manchester Derby

There are no winners in this Manchester derby. Manchester United vs Manchester City finished as strong as 0-0 in a match that unfolded with minimal cleanup opportunities.

The Manchester United vs Manchester City match of the 12th week of the Premier League took place at Old Trafford, on Sunday (12/13/2020) at the WIB in the morning. The game was close, to the point that the two teams limited each other to create opportunities.

MU has a chance for a corner kick in the 40th minute. Lindelof escapes from guard and finds himself in free position to receive the pass from Fernandes. His header is still fine on the goal.

Another pressure from the hosts for City in the 43rd minute. Mason Greenwood receives the ball in front of the penalty area and tries to open space, before finally shooting.

The ball did not reach the goal because it hit a City defender. The first part was complete without goals.

One minute into the second half, MU received a penalty after Marcus Rashford was blocked by Kyle Walker. But the video assistant referee (VAR) examined the situation and it was later discovered that Rashford was in an offside position. The sentence was canceled.

Pogba unleashed a great deep pass for Rashford in the 53rd minute. But the MU striker slipped and was unable to kick perfectly, sending his shot wide to the left of the goal.

Chance for the city in the 68th minute. Jesus baited De Bruyne and completed it with a shot that still hit the MU defense.

The entrance of Ferran Torres increased the pressure of City. But MU closed the defense and made it uncomfortable for visitors to enter the penalty area.
