No electricity from DKI and its surroundings, Erick Thohir visits PLN office

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir visited PLN Distribution Jakarta Raya (Disjaya) headquarters after hearing information about a blackout in and around the DKI Jakarta area on Sunday (1/11/2020) by the afternoon.

“I have registered directly in the field, hopefully soon recover“Erick said in his written statement Sunday.

Erick also confirmed that at this time several areas had the electricity back on after it had been turned off at 12.58 WIB earlier.

“Areas that have been illuminated include Caeang, Duren Tiga, Mampang, Danayasa, SCBD, Kemang, Ancol, Angke and Setiabudi,” said Erick.

Previously, the DKI Jakarta area and its surroundings had experienced a power outage on Sunday (1/11/2020) afternoon. PT PLN (Persero) said that the blackout was due to a disturbance in the 500 KV Extra High Voltage Air Line (SUTET).

Regarding the SUTETs that were experiencing interference, namely the Muara Tawar – Cibatu SUTET, the Depok – Cibinong SUTET, the Cawang – Muara Tawar SUTET and the Bekasi Tambun SUTET.

“PLN apologizes for the power outages experienced in parts of Jakarta,” said the Senior General Affairs Manager.
