JAKARTA – News circulating on social networks of the death of former Vice President Hamzah Haz. The Vice Chairman of the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of the United Development Party (PPP) Arwani Thomafi denied the hoax.
“Not true, this is still being discussed. Please pray,” Arwani said, confirmed on Monday (10/19/2020).
Hamzah Haz was treated at Gatot Soebroto Army Central Hospital, Jakarta, because he was suffering from an illness due to organ dysfunction.

Previously, the news about the health status of the former PPP president was confirmed by the PPP secretary general, Arsul Sani. “Please pray for a speedy recovery. His organ function has deteriorated due to age,” Arsul told reporters on Friday, October 16, 2020.
Arsul said the ninth vice president could still eat. However, Line IV seemed to be in Hamzah Haz’s hand.
