TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Polda Metro Jaya has named a suspect in the Jalan Raya Ragunan accident case, Pasar Minggu, in South Jakarta, which killed a motorcyclist on Friday (12/25/2020).
Based on the crime scene (TKP) results, Handana (25), a Hyundai car driver with police number B 369 HRH was identified as a suspect.
“We investigators from the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Traffic Police have named Brother H, a black Hyundai driver, as a suspect in this accident case,” said Polda Metro Jaya Commissioner Traffic Director Sambodo Purnomo Yogo , on Saturday (12/26/2020).
Handana is a suspect under Article 311, paragraph 5 of the Road Traffic and Transport Act, with a maximum threat of 12 years in prison and a maximum fine of Rs 24 million.
Now, Handana has been detained at the Gakkum Traffic Deputy Directorate, Polda Metro Jaya.

Sambodo explained that Handana was a suspect because it was found that he had grazed a Toyota Innova with license plate number B 2159 SIJ driven by Aiptu Imam Chambali, also known as IC.
As a result of the grazing, the car Imam was driving lost control and crossed into the opposite lane, then collided with three motorcycles.
The victim named Pinkan Lumintang (30) died at the scene. Meanwhile, another victim, Dian Prasetyo, was seriously injured and M Sharif was slightly injured.

Sambodo explained that Handana’s naming as a suspect was supported by a series of evidence obtained by the police during the investigation process.
