JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV- Former Deputy Chief of Police, Komjen Pol (Purn) Syafruddin, denied ever being invited by the Chief of the Presidential General Staff Office Moeldoko to join the Democratic Party leadership as a result of the Extraordinary Congress in Deli Serdang, in the north from Sumatra. Syafruddin also denied that there was an invitation to join Marzuki Alie over a similar matter.
