Takaaki Nakagami crashes while leading the Teruel MotoGP race. The Honda LCR Rider was unable to cope with the pressure while in the forward position.

Nakagami really put up well to the MotoGP Teruel 2020 series. Appearing well during free practice, the Japanese rider took pole position during qualifying.

Nakagami was deeply disappointed by the mistake that made him fall at Teruel MotoGP. He admitted that he was nervous because he felt the great pressure as a race leader.

“It’s a shame. I made a mistake and it was fatal. I was really disappointed. I had to give my maximum ability after starting and I was too fast. That’s it,” Nakagami said as quoted by the report. Motoring.

“I still can’t believe I made a mistake now. So, I’m disappointed in myself. Fortunately, though, I’m fine, not injured.”

“Before the race, it was the first time that I felt a lot of pressure from outside and I couldn’t handle it,” Nakagami continued.

“So this is why I make stupid mistakes. I have to learn from these mistakes for the future,” he said.

The Teruel MotoGP race was finally won by Franco Morbidelli. Takaaki Nakagami himself is now seventh in the drivers’ standings with 92 points.
