Manchester United looked lovely in the first half at home to Leeds United in the Premier League. The Red Devils returned to the locker room with a wide margin of advantage, which is 4-1.

At Old Trafford on Sunday (12/20/2020), MU immediately took the lead one minute after kick-off. Starting off a counterattack, Scott McTominay’s feedback was immediately rounded out by Bruno Fernandes with a long-range shot that Leeds goalkeeper Ilan Meslier was unable to block.

OBJECTIVE MORE! MU winning 2-0 in the 3rd minute. Receiving the ball from a free kick, Anthony Martial deftly gave McTominay the deep pass, which entered the area, and with a measured shot to the right corner, he rang Leeds’ goal for the second time.

Leeds tried to get up. Patrick Bamford came close to scoring in the 8th minute after receiving a pass from Rodrigo, but his shot crashed through the right side of United’s goal.

Before Leeds could put on a fierce game, their goal was broken again in the 20th minute. Fred dribbled the ball into the Leeds penalty area, then brought Martial in.

The French attacker’s possession was released by interference from Luke Ayling, but the wild ball was immediately hit by Bruno Fernandes with a powerful shot that sent Meslier returning the ball from the net. MU leads 3-0.

Leeds did not give up. Bamford had another chance in the 25th minute after receiving a cross from Mateusz Klich, but his header missed the mark.

Manchester United sent Leeds further away in the 37th minute. Starting from a corner kick by Luke Shaw, the ball was headed by Martial and headed towards Victor Lindelof. With a shot at point-blank range, the Swedish defender hit Leeds’ net with his goal.

Leeds’ efforts to find a goal were finally successful in the 42nd minute. Liam Cooper’s header, who took advantage of Raphinha’s corner kick, could not be blocked by David De Gea. It scores 4-1 and lasts until the break.
