MotoGP Teruel 2020, Alex Márquez is consumed with his own talk

KOMPAS.com – Alex Márquez had to suffer the consequences of what he said before career MotoGP 2020.

Before the start of the race, the Repsol Honda rider had “complained” about his starting position.

He considered that starting the race from position 10 would make it difficult for him to get on the podium.

“Starting from tenth position will be difficult to get on the podium,” said Márquez, as quoted by Speedweek.

Alex’s words finally came true. He failed to get on the podium, he didn’t even make it to the finish.

Marc Márquez’s younger brother had to finish the race faster due to an accident.

Alex shock at Turn 2 of the Aragon MotorLand Circuit as the race enters its 14th lap.

The incident was very unfortunate because Alex was really agile during the race that took place on Sunday (10/25/2020).

Despite starting from the fourth row, Alex skyrocketed to reach the top five on lap seven.

Alex passed several runners in front of him, from Fabio Quartararo to Maverick Vinales.

Alex even had time to compete with Joan Mir and Johann Zarco for third place.

However, Alex had an accident and was unable to continue the race.
