Viñales fell from third to fifth in the standings. You now have 48 points.
The Spanish rider did not score any additional points in the Styria MotoGP race.
He was unable to touch the finish line after his motorcycle experienced braking problems.
That problem caused Viñales to finish the race faster by falling off his motorcycle that was traveling at more than 200 kilometers per hour.
Viñales’ spot is now held by Jack Miller (Pramac Racing), who currently has a collection of 56 points.
