KOMPAS.com – Marc Márquez’s younger brother, Alex Márquez (Repsol Honda), managed to get on the podium for the second time in a row in the 2020 MotoGP.

Álex Márquez managed to finish in second position in the Aragón MotoGP at the Aragón Circuit, on Sunday (10/18/2020) WIB afternoon.

Previously, he also won second place in the French MotoGP at the Le Mans circuit.

He became the only Honda rider who could get on the podium until the 10th round of MotoGP 2020.

The Spanish rider is also one of two riders who has never stopped finishing during the 2020 MotoGP so far. Another is Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda).

Alex Márquez started the MotoGP in Aragon badly. He’s in the fourth row with eleventh place.

However, slowly Alex Márquez was able to compete with other riders in the top 10.

Firstly, Marc Márquez’s younger brother battled Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) in the race for eighth place.

Dovizioso never relented, Alex won eighth place.

Little by little, Alex Márquez was going crazy. He managed to overtake Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli.

His position is even more compelling being fourth when the lap leaves 13 laps.

At that moment, Alex Márquez tried to get close to Joan Mir (Suzuki Ecstar) who was in third position with a difference of only 0.262 seconds.

Going into the last 10 laps, Alex Márquez managed to overtake Maverick Vinales and take third position.

Asa is not done yet. The 24-year-old is still attached to Joan Mir, who is in second place.

When the race is 8 laps, battle for the first to warm. The distance between Alex Rins, Joan Mir and Alex Marquez is very close.

Alex Márquez began to be aggressive when the race left 7 laps.

His efforts managed to take second place from Joan Mir in the final 6 laps and he kept chasing Alex Rins.

In the last 4 laps, Alex Márquez held on to Alex Rins. However, he made the mistake of hitting the brakes too long and leaving room for Alex Rins.

Going into the last lap, Alez Márquez kept stuck. It’s just that Alex Rins is able to maintain his position and has the right to get on the main podium.
