The International Federation of Podiatrists discovered these findings in a case report describing a 13-year-old boy who suddenly had leg injuries between 5 and 15 millimeters in diameter last month.

However, it is possible that the boy will contract a new corona virus from his mother and sister, which was confirmed by Covid-19 first, before leg injuries appeared.
Small previous studies in Italy also showed that approximately one in five Covid-19 patients experienced skin manifestations, such as red skin and itching.
Podiatrists or foot specialists say it is important to consider foot injuries as a potential Covid-19 symptom before others develop.
