The course of the match

Juventus had the first golden opportunity in the 12th minute. Federico Chiesa slipped the ball into the Kiev penalty area and fired a strong shot, but George Bushchan was denied.

Two minutes later, Juventus had another chance. Bushchan missed a Chiesa corner and the ball headed for Giorgio Chiellini, but his header went wide.

The pressure from Juventus does not stop there. Chiesa threatened again in the 15th minute after making an inside cut from the left, but this time his shot was deflected to the right of Kiev’s goal.

Disastrous for Chiellini in the 18th minute. He complained of pain in his leg and was unable to continue playing. Merih Demiral came in to replace him.

In the 33rd minute, Bushchan performed brilliantly again. Aaron Ramsey entered the Kiev penalty area and fed Kulusevski, who seized the opportunity with a heel, but the Ukraine goalkeeper turned it down.

Kiev does not want to be pressured. Carlos De Pena made a long-range attempt in the 38th minute, but his shot was still secured by Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

Two minutes later, Juventus had another shot through Ramsey, but his shot from inside the area was also stopped by Bushchan.

During injury time, Kiev once again had the opportunity to score a goal from a free kick, but the execution of Viktor Tsyhankov provoked a hug from Szczesny. Score 0-0 to close the first half.

In the second half, Juventus stepped on the accelerator. In the 46th minute they opened the scoring. Álvaro Morata, barely visible in the first half, managed to get into Bushchan’s goal with Kulusevski’s shot ball. OBJECTIVE! 1-0 for Juventus.
