Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

Presidium of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (USA), Din Syamsuddin recalled the Chief of the Presidential Personnel Office (KSP) Moeldoko not to launch various threats against the people and the United States in particular.

Din’s warning was delivered in response to Moeldoko’s statement calling on the United States not to disturb Indonesia’s political stability.

Din stressed that the means to threaten and display the arrogance of power are outdated in the current democratic climate adopted by Indonesia.

“Finally, we remind Mr. KSP Moeldoko and the ranks of power not to launch ‘threats’ at the people. In today’s modern era of democracy, the arrogance of power, repressive and authoritarian attitudes are out of date,” he said Din in his official statement to CNNIndonesia.com, on Friday (2/10).

Din said that when WE have challenges and threats, it will be a trigger to keep fighting.

“We are not a bunch of cowards. Because the people who join us are those who leave all matters in the hands of Almighty God, Allah SWT, and only fear him,” Din said.

Other than that, Din also agreed that Moeldoko viewed the United States as a group of interest groups. It is known, Moeldoko said that WE were only in the form of a group of interest groups.

WE, Din said, have an interest in the government and its staff being able to work to fulfill the mandate of the community. Among these interests is that of straightening the course of the nation and the country, which is considered to have many irregularities. Then, he also reminded the government to seriously root out corruption, collusion and nepotism (KKN), which is still rampant in government circles.

Not only that, Din said it was in our interest to remind the government to seriously address Covid-19 by prioritizing the health and safety of people. We also remind the government to take overcoming economic injustice seriously and to prioritize the employment of people.

“It is not for Foreign Workers (TKA) and to repeal the Law that is more profitable for employers than for Workers,” he said.

It is known, WE was declared on August 18, 2020. This group has leading figures such as Din Syamsuddin, Gatot Nurmantyo a Rochmat Wahab.

We call their movement a moral movement. They also actively criticize the government.
