Misano test results before MotoGP Emilia Romagna – Pol Espargaró fastest, Rossi 3 last

KOMPAS.com – The MotoGP riders underwent tests at the Misano Circuit on Tuesday (9/15/2020) in the morning local time.

The test took place before the Emilia Romagna MotoGP, which will be held again at the Misano Circuit, Rimini, from September 18 to 20, 2020.

The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider, Pol Espargaró, this time became the fastest at the Misano circuit.

Espargaró occupies the first position with a best lap time of 1 minute 32.054 seconds.

Behind Espargaró are two winners of the 2020 MotoGP San Marino podium, Joan Mir and Francesco Bagnaia.

Joan Mir ranks second in the Misano test. Horse rider The Suzuki Ecstar is 0.128 seconds adrift from Espargaró.

Bagnaia, who posted a time of 1 minute 32,207 seconds, is in third place.

2020 MotoGP qualifying leader Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) ranks fifth in the Misano test results, behind Alex Rins (Suzuki Ecstar).

Valentino Rossi, who failed to get on the podium at the 2020 San Marino MotoGP, reported poor results in the Misano test.

With a time of 1 minute 32.946 seconds, the Monster Energy Yamaha racer was thrown from the top 10.

Rossi is only 16th, ahead of the last two runners, namely Bradley Smith (17) and Tito Rabat (18).

Meanwhile, Franco Morbidelli, who won the 2020 MotoGP San Marino, did not participate in today’s test.

Petronas Yamaha SRT announced that Morbidelli missed the test at Misano due to a stomachache.

Morbidelli decided to rest in order to be fit for the MotoGP Emilia Romagna this weekend.

Aside from Morbidelli, another rider who missed the Misano event was Stefan Bradl.

The rider who will replace Marc Márquez at Repsol Honda reportedly has a minor nerve problem in his right arm.

Meanwhile, Cal Crutchlow, who missed the San Marino MotoGP due to injury, also did not take the Misano test.
