GenPI.co – Yaqut religious minister Cholil Quomas, alias Gus Yaqut, was respectful towards GPIB Church President Immanuel Pastor Immanuel Yorinawa Salawangi.
This moment occurred when Gus Yaqut attended a Christmas celebration at GPIB Immanuel (Blenduk Church) Semarang City, Central Java, on Thursday (12/24).

He was accompanied by dozens of Banser members. There, Gus Yaqut greeted the congregation at the church.
Gus Yaqut said that he was a minister of all religions, not of a particular religion.
“Tonight I visited friends and family who are celebrating Christmas to share their happiness with them,” said Gus Yaqut.
He also asked religious people to make religion a source of inspiration, peace, and the spread of love.
“Let’s leave the assumption that religion is the conflict norm for different people,” said Gus Yaqut.
