Minister of Religion Fachrul Razi Positive Covid-19

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – It was confirmed that the Minister of Religion Fachrul Razi tested positive for Covid-19. However, Fachrul is currently in good physical condition.

This news was relayed by the special staff of Minister of Religion Kevin Haikal.

“On September 17, the Minister of Religion conducted a test swab and the results were positive, “said Kevin through a written statement received Kompas.com, Monday (9/21/2020).

“However, thank goodness, his physical condition has been well monitored. There are no worrisome symptoms,” Kevin said.

Although in good condition, Fachrul is currently in a process of isolation and rest.

Kevin also asked the community to pray for Fachrul to be healed.

“We ask the community for prayers, we hope the process runs smoothly and the Minister of Religion can improve soon, hopefully the results swab the next one is negative, so that the Minister of Religion can return to fulfill his functions ”, he said.

Meanwhile, Oman’s Ministry of Religion spokesman Fathurahman said that in the meantime Fachrul Razi would focus on going through the process of isolation and health recovery.

For the fulfillment of bureaucratic duties, Fachrul has coordinated and delegated it to the Vice Minister of Religion, in addition to giving instructions to the relevant officials.

“The implementation of the Ministry of Religion program, especially to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 in religious and religious education institutions, as well as religious institutions, is the concern of the Minister of Religion,” said Oman.

“He asked for it to work well. The assistance that is distributed must also be correct and responsible,” he said.

Fachrul, Oman said, called for the religious programs and services to continue. Coordination will continue to be done online.

Oman added that Fachrul also called on the public to comply with the government’s recommendations with discipline in the implementation of health protocols.

“Anyone can get Covid-19, nothing except, that we identify ourselves, strengthen others and try to comply with health protocols. Hopefully this pandemic can be resolved soon,” he said.
