Selebgram Millen Cyrus was transferred to the Tanjung Priok Port Police Station in North Jakarta after being arrested in connection with the methamphetamine case. Before being questioned by the police, he underwent a rapid test related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tanjung Priok Port Police Chief AKBP Ahrie Sonta said Millen Cyrus underwent a rapid test on Saturday (11/21) at 10.30 WIB. The rapid test was carried out by members of the Urkes Police from the Tanjung Priok port accompanied by the Narcotics Satisfaction Unit II.
“Muhammad Millendaru Prakasa, aka Millen Cyrus, was declared COVID-19 non-reactive,” Ahrie told AFP on Sunday (11/22/2020).
Ahrie said, implementing this quick test is a part that should be followed by anyone being tested.
“The health checks, as well as the rapid tests we are conducting, are part of the efforts to help the government break the chain of transmission of COVID-19. This is also our focus on the Tanjung Priok Port Police, in addition to law enforcement, “he said.
Millen Cyrus was arrested by the police on Saturday (11/21) at 00.05 WIB in the morning. He was secured by the Chief of the Tanjung Priok Port Police Narcotics Unit, AKP Reza Rahandhi, together with his team’s Chief of Narcotics Satellite, Ipda Prima Boy Mantri, at a hotel in North Jakarta.
Police said the arrest of singer Ashanty’s nephew stemmed from public information about drug abuse at the scene.
