Real Madrid won all the points when they hosted Granada in LaLiga. Madrid won 2-0 and now equals Atlético de Madrid’s points at the top of the standings.
The Madrid vs Granada match of Day 15 of the Spanish League was held at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium, on Thursday (12/24/2020) at the morning WIB. Despite appearing dominant, Madrid struggled to create opportunities in the first half.
Casemiro just broke the Madrid tie with a header in the 57th minute. After receiving pressure, Madrid sealed the victory with Karim Benzema’s goal in injury time.

Madrid ranks second in the Spanish League standings and only loses on goal difference with Atlético at the top. Meanwhile, Granada remains stuck in seventh position with 21 points.

An error in Madrid’s baseline in the second minute almost gave Granada the advantage. Raphael Varane’s mistake was taken advantage of by Roberto Soldado who later passed to Antonio Puertas. He tried to open a shot, but it still hovered over the crossbar.
Madrid responded immediately with a shot from Karim Benzema in front of the penalty area. However, Benzema’s effort only resulted in a corner for Madrid.
Toni Kroos also tried to open a shot from outside the penalty area. This time the effort of the Madrid midfielder was diverted from Granada’s goal.
Madrid dominates the game. However, Karim Benzema et al had difficulty creating clean opportunities. No goals were scored until halftime.
Going into the second half, Madrid had a chance through Valverde and Kroos. However, both could anticipate Rui Silva’s efforts.
Madrid finally broke the deadlock in the 57th minute. A cross from the left by Marco Asensio was completed by Casemiro with a header.

It was Madrid who then doubled the lead in the third minute of injury time. Benzema scored to seal Madrid’s victory.
The French striker made a stab from the right. He then passed the Granada defenders and fired a left-footed shot from outside the area. The ball went to the bottom of Granada’s goal without Rui Silva being able to anticipate.
