The tragic death of Rinaldi Harley Wismanu (32) left her family deeply grieved. Rinaldi, who was killed and maimed, had one last vacation with his family in Bromo, East Java.

“The last one went to Bromo with his family. If I’m not mistaken between January or February. Anyway, before COVID-19,” said one of Rinaldi’s relatives, Hendro, when he met with reporters at the funeral home, Nologaten Village, Caturtunggal, Depok, Sleman, on Thursday (9/17/2020).

Hendro said that Rinaldi was the eldest son and became the backbone of his family. During the Corona pandemic, Rinaldi had never returned to Sleman.

Despite the distance, Rinaldi and his family in Sleman communicate regularly. So when Rinaldi couldn’t be reached, the family was concerned.

The family reported the loss of Rinaldi to Polda Metro Jaya. Then the father continued to Jakarta, on Tuesday (9/15).

“This father and his sister are still there (Jakarta) to take charge of the finds (bodies). I knew that last night (9/16) they were given this news,” he explained.
