SUKABUMI, KOMPAS.com – An individual member of a social organization (CSO), SP (48) in Sukabumi, West Java, was secured by the Sukabumi police station on Thursday (05/14/2020).
The SP suspect, a resident of the village of Cibodas, Cibitung District, was allegedly persecuted by a religious leader HM Idih (67) in the village of Kademangan, Surade District, Sukabumi Regency, on Wednesday (06/13/2020) around 17:00 WIB.
Even the criminal acts of persecution committed by SP suspects against religious leaders in the local village were captured on video. Video recorded virally on social networks (social networks) from Wednesday night until this Thursday.
“The perpetrators were secured on Thursday morning and have been named as suspects and have also been arrested,” said the head of the Sukabumi Regional Police Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Rizka Fadhila when confirmed. Kompas.com, Thursday night.

According to Rizka, the results of the interim examination, the criminal act of persecution originated in the conflict between two different groups of mass organizations at the crime scene (TKP).
They were involved in a conflict allegedly due to the problem of iron sand mining. But the problem is still deepened by the police.
“At that time, the victim arrived with the intention of separating, but because the perpetrator’s position was emotional and offended the victim’s speech, then the suspect hit the victim,” he said.
The police, Rizka continued, will continue the case according to the victim’s report.
The victim’s statement considered that he had been beaten by the offender until he lost his balance and fell.
“We can take the photos on video. But the autopsy evidence and the witness testimony are sufficient,” he said.

For their actions, SP suspects will be charged under article 351 of the Indonesian Penal Code with a maximum prison sentence of five years.
