To overcome this, the government is trying to provide some assistance to the community.

Of course, this is to restore economic conditions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Since the end of August 2020, the government has started to disburse Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) for subsidized wages or the wages of workers with wages below 5 million IDR.


In addition, there are other aids, namely, PKH Assistance, Basic Food Assistance, Pre-Employment Cards, Basic Food Cards and Social Assistance (Bansos) that are provided per head of household with a nominal value of 500 thousand IDR.

During the month of September alone, the Government has implemented social assistance policies and programs, such as credit subsidies and data packages for the general public and students.

The credit subsidy assistance aims to reduce the cost burden when doing activities and studying online.
