Advance

Inter Milan will be looking for a win to forget the nightmare in this season’s Champions League, where they occupy the interim position of Group B.

The Nerazzurri failed to secure a decisive victory at home against Shakhtar Donetsk, the Ukrainian club stole a point after maintaining a goalless draw at Giuseppe Meazza, earning them a ticket to the knockout stages of the Europa League.

This failure will fuel the motivation of the La Beneamata players to pursue the Scudetto, Romelu Lukaku and his friends currently being one of the favorites.

Conte’s squad is currently ranked third in the Serie A standings, five points behind AC Milan. The victory will return the club to second place, displacing the Sassuolo who won this week.

Cagliari meanwhile have had a brilliant performance at home, having lost just one defeat in their last six matches in all competitions.

Prediction: Cagliari 1-2 Inter Milan
