jpnn.com, JAKARTA – TNI’s apparatus took home a group of teenagers who still remained in the area of the Arjuna Wiwaha horse statue after they did not disperse after the action ended at 18.00 WIB.
There were no tear gas fires by security agents during the action on Tuesday (10/20).
“Army fathers will escort all of their brothers and sisters until they are safe. Go home safely. Our brothers and sisters want to accompany you home. Come on, the Marines will be escorted home,” said Dandim 0501 / JP BS Col. Inf Luqman Arief from the command car.
Soon, TNI members also approached the teenagers to move and disperse around the statue of the horse Arjuna Wiwaha.
At 6:05 p.m. WIB, conditions in the vicinity of the Arjuna Wiwaha horse statue were observed to be favorable.
Pangdam Jaya, Major General Dudung Abdurachman, along with Inspector General Pol Nana Sudjana from Kapolda Metro Jaya and Kabareskrim Polri, Komjen Pol Listyo Sigit, immediately searched the place after conditions were gradually favorable.
Dudung also said that in safeguarding action, his party prioritized human actions.
“We are both with the police, so we hope that the term repressive action is not so conscientious among citizens. The important thing is that aspirations have been transmitted,” said Dudung.
