Many workers have not received BLT Term II wage subsidies, this is the explanation from the Ministry of Manpower

KOMPAS.com – The wage subsidy aid (BSU) disbursed by the Government through the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has reached stage 4 on Friday (11/20/2020).

The Phase II, Stage 4 BSU distribution, amounting to Rs 1.2 million each, is known to have been delivered to 2,442,289 eligible worker account numbers.

Those who obtain BSU are workers with wages below 5 million rupees and are registered as members of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

Tracking data as of November 20, 2020, the total distribution of the term II BSU was 10,485,136 accounts.

The distribution is divided into 4 stages, with the following details:

  • Level I, BSU channeled a total of 2,180,382 people
  • Phase II, BSU distributed 2,713,434 people
  • Phase III, BSU distributed up to 3,149,031 people
  • Stage IV, BSU distributed up to 2,442,289 people

Even so, there are a number of netizens who claim not to have received the BSU term II.

Explanation of the Ministry of Manpower

Regarding several workers who have not received the term II BSU, the Director of Cooperation in Institutional and Industrial Relations of the Ministry of Manpower, Aswansyah, said that there is a mechanism for comparing data that is still in progress between the Ministry of Manpower and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and the General Directorate of Taxes.

“Yesterday we agreed with the General Directorate of Taxes. There are 1,198,539 accounts, but that is not yet a process, so we first postpone the distribution of the BSU,” Aswansyah said when contacted. Kompas.com, Tuesday (11/24/2020).

Because the matching process is still ongoing, the owners of 1,198,539 accounts have not been able to distribute BSU funds.

Aswansyah said that this pairing process is not final yet. Because, BSU organizers and distributors still repeat any account that does not meet the criteria of potential recipients.

He explained that currently BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has not yet completed the full data comparison.

“If there is a continuation, we will process it again. It can still be repeated,” Aswansyah said.

Regarding questions from netizens about the possibility of workers not getting BSU in period II, even though they previously received BSU in period I, Aswansyah gave an explanation.

His party said that those who have not received the BSU in term II, while in the first term they did, it is possible that their accounts participate in the match.

“It may be included in the kepending. After matching, there are indications of 1,198,539, but this figure is not clear so far,” Aswansyah said.

“If it were clear, we would not distribute to those whose salaries were above 5 million rupees,” he continued.

Continue coordinating with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan

Due to the matchmaking process pending clarity of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan data, Aswansyah said that his party continues to coordinate with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

“We also continue to coordinate with each other, because BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has not yet been completed,” Aswansyah said.

He also admitted that he did not want to spend too much time distributing the term II BSU so that it could be delivered to eligible workers.

Additionally, Aswansyah revealed that his party is currently targeting 11,052,859 Term II BSU recipients, if Lot 5 has been disbursed.

This figure is approaching the target data presented by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, that is, 12,403,896.

“I hope it can be channeled 100 percent according to the data presented by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan,” he continued.
