KOMPAS.com – Manchester United are the only English team that has not qualified for the knockout phase or the knockout stages of the Champions League this season.
Man United were eliminated after narrowly losing 2-3 when they faced RB Leipzig in the sixth match of Group H of the Champions League, on Tuesday (8/12/2020) or Wednesday morning WIB.
The defeat left Man United eliminated despite the fact that another Group H match, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) vs Istanbul Basaksehir, was still suspended for racial cases.
Manchester United will later move on to the Europa League after taking third place in the Champions League Group H standings with a collection of nine points.
On the other hand, Leipzig will certainly qualify for the knockout phase after defeating Man United.

However, Leipzig will have to wait for the results of the postponed match of PSG vs Istanbul Basaksehir to determine their status if they qualify for the round of 16 as group winners or runner-up.
Leipzig temporarily leads the Group H standings with a collection of nine points, three points ahead of PSG, who have not played their sixth match in second place.
With this condition, PSG can beat Leipzig and qualify for the knockout phase as Group H champions if they manage to defeat Istanbul Basaksehir in the postponed match.
Because PSG is superior head to head and the goal difference over Leipzig if the points of the two teams are identical.
However, if they fail to beat Istanbul Basaksehir, PSG must be willing to qualify as runner-up and see Leipzig as the winners of Group H.
Apart from Leipzig and PSG, there are two other teams that have also confirmed tickets to play the knockout stages of the Champions League today.
The two teams are Borussia Dortmund and Lazio, which are representatives of Group F.
