Pep Guardiola finally wants to talk about his chances of winning the Premier League. He said Manchester City only needed three more games.

Manchester City continues to excel in the Premier League. The Citizens continue to consistently top the Premier League rankings as long as.

Most recently Manchester City successfully beat Leicester City 2-0 at the King Power Stadium, on Saturday (3/4/2021) WIB night. Despite being stagnant in the first half, City were able to score two goals in the second half through Benjamin Mendy (58 ‘minutes) and Gabriel Jesus (74’).

These results put Manchester City at the top of the Premier League standings with 74 points from 31 games. Leicester City remains in third place with 56 points.

Manchester City is also increasingly outpacing its closest competitors, Manchester United’s neighbors. The Red Devils are currently in second place with 57 points on 29 plays.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola finally has the courage to speak out about his team’s chances of winning. For Guardiola, Los Ciudadanos only need three more victories.

“We are almost champions. We need three more victories,” he was quoted as saying by the BBC.

“The Premier League is the best competition to win. Because it is very difficult,” he continued.

In the next three games, Manchester City will face Leeds United (April 10), Aston Villa (April 22) and Crystal Palace (May 1). If Manchester United slips, the chances of beating City are even faster.

On the bench, Man City also had to face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-finals, Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-finals and Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup final.
